Chipper Cash, an Africa-focused money transfer startup backed by Silicon Valley Bank and Jeff Bezos’ personal venture fund, has cut around 20 jobs in its latest round of layoffs, the company said Friday. The decision affects employees in the U.K. and the U.S., and the affected job functions will be moved to Chipper’s team based in African countries, including South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria.
